  • Encryption: The process of converting information or data into a code, especially to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data Breach: A security incident in which sensitive, protected, or confidential data is copied, transmitted, viewed, stolen, or used by an individual unauthorized to do so.

Emcoin is an investment management company licensed under the second category (Dealing in Investments) by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) of the United Arab Emirates(UAE). Our primaryfunction is to provide investment management services on a:

  • Discretionary basis: Where Emcoin manages investments on behalf of clients based on pre-agreed strategies.
  • Non-discretionary basis: Where clients make their own investment decisions while using Emcoin's platform.

We cater to:

  • Retail Investors: Individuals looking to invest in securities.
  • Professional Investors: High net-worth individuals and corporate entities requiring specialized investment solutions.

Our services include an online tradingportal, enabling clientsto onboard and conduct trading of various instruments conveniently via our mobile application.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

To provide our services effectively, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and enhance your experience, , we collect and process your personal data when you register with us and use our platform. We are committed to collecting only the personal data that is necessary for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and will not process it further in a manner incompatible with those purposes. a) Identification Information (To Verify Your Identity)

  • Emirates ID number and copy
  • Passport number and copy
  • UAE Pass details (for digital onboarding)

Why? This information is required to verify your identity as per UAE regulatory requirements.

b) Contact Information (To Stay in Touch with You)

  • Residential/mailing address with proof of address (e.g. utility bill).

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

In exceptional circumstances, when executing transactions in foreign markets (e.g., US markets), that necessitate direct interaction with international regulatory bodies, exchanges, or liquidity providers, may be legally required to share specific personal data.

You can request the deletion of your data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or if you have withdrawn your consent (where processing was based on consent), and there are no overriding legal grounds for its retention

4. Right to Object:

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain situations, including processing for direct marketing purposes.

5. Right to Withdraw Consent:

If the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the rightto withdraw your consent at anytime, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal

6. Right to Restriction of Processing:
